The good news is that new courier and warehouse worker employment grew by 40,000 in August.  This represented about 17% of the total growth in US-wide August employment.   
 
In the short-term, U.S. Port executives say they expect the logjams stretching from China to Midwestern container terminals to extend beyond the Lunar New Year in February.  In the longer-term, consensus is container capacity is likely to fall short of demand in the later years.
